Gibson Fireside Pipes with Imitation Ivory Mounts. Coca Bola Wood (sister wood to African Blackwood) pipes designed to play and tune exactly like a regular set of Great Highland Pipes but requiring a minimum amount of maintenance using a canmore bag and producing a lower volume of sound with the less breathing effort. Adults and children should find the fireside pipes easy to blow. Plays with plastic reeds, achieving stunning harmonics and tonal balance. Available in the keys of A, Bflat (most popularhigland sound) and D. Bb is ideal for playing at home, traveling or personal enjoyment. D is ideal for concert, pub playing or playing in ceilidh bands. A produces a lower pitch suited for playing with a fiddle or vocal accompaniment. Just contact us as to which you prefer after your order.
